On Dec 1st, 2024, Prazna Foundation organized an exciting Sports Day for the students of Akshar Kaksha, a free education program for children who live in slums and backward areas. The event was a huge success, filled with lots of fun and excitement. The event began with a lively Geet performance by our talented Akshar Kaksha Students- Ravi Kishan, Khushbu, Vicky, Rakhi, and Sanjana.
To motivate the children, our founder Ms. Preeti Sharma, and Mr. Pankaj Sharma, founder of Netleon Technologies Pvt Ltd, addressed the students with their words by motivating them to focus on physical activities and studies.
The sports day was filled with fun and excitement and various games, including the Banana race, 200m frog jumps, etc. It was a wonderful day, students cheered for their friends and supported each other.
After an hour of playing games, the children took a well-deserved refreshment break, so that they could continue playing energetically and enthusiastically.
More than 50 students participated and 21 of them won medals for their exceptional performance, we also had several guests join us, and their presence made the day more special. It was a reminder that together we can change the lives of those children and inspire them to be better
At Prazna Foundation, we believe that being physically active is also as important as education. Such events like Sports Day, give the children a chance to showcase their talent and abilities, and also help them build teamwork, confidence, and understanding that enjoying the process is more important than the outcome.
We are incredibly thankful to everyone who showed up and helped in making this event a huge success. The event was not just about games and medals but also about coming together as a community to support and uplift the children of Akshar Kaksha.
Prazna Foundation’s Vision for a Better Future:
At Prazna Foundation, we primarily focus on two projects- Akshar Kaksha and Project Kishori. Through Akshar Kaksha, we provide free education to children who live in slums and backward areas. We not only focus on academic growth but also try to engage them in other activities for overall growth. We organize Yoga Sessions, Drawing competitions, and Sports Events for our Akshar Kaksha students so that they can find their area of interest, it will help them to develop their skills and instill a sense of unity and togetherness in them. Additionally, we celebrate festivals with children, bringing joy, and teaching them about cultural values and traditions.
Our second initiative, Project Kishori, raises awareness about menstrual health and hygiene among girls and women in slum areas. Along with workshops, we also distribute hygiene kits that contain all the necessary items, needed during menstruation. This project has helped thousands of women and girls gain access to accurate information and resources. Our Foundation is committed to building a brighter, healthier, and safer community for women. We are proud to be working for Women’s Health and Hygiene.
