Swami Vivekananda has said “ It is a privilege to serve the mankind for this is the service of the almighty , Almighty is here in all these human souls “. We here at Prazna Foundation’s sharing is caring program are at the service of underprivileged children to make a meaningful impact in their lives . Children from underprivileged background need various kinds of support like emotional support, financial support ,educational support, healthcare . As they are born in hard conditions , and it is difficult to uplift them , their plight remains and they continue to live in poor conditions for generations and are unable to change their circumstances of their own.
Each individual has some qualities bestowed upon by Almighty. Irrespective of their background , they remain obsolete and are not utilized if no proper platform is given. To explore this tremendous potential they need to be nurtured in a healthy environment, where life appears like a rainbow full of colors , happiness and vitality. Life should not be made bereft of these hopeful phenomena. Just like a plant that grows towards the sunlight , every life is prospered with proper elements of love , kindness , sharing , care , respect , dignity, creativity. Without these things it appears dull and depressed.Â
A culture of peace and harmony and financial security can play a vital role in the up bringing of a child and he or she becomes a generous and a noble citizen. Sharing is caring is our effort to make a meaningful impact on the lives of underprivileged children by sharing what we can in our thoughts and deeds. This will work for the good in their lives and prosper it.
Sharing is caring is a program that has range of activities in its gamut that cater to meet the immediate and long term needs of its members. These include
Regular drives are conducted amongst underprivileged children to give them essential things like food , clothing , hygiene products , and educational materials. This is done to provide immediate relief and support to children and their families who are facing economic challenges.
This includes celebrations on special occasions and festivals with children and their families from underprivileged backgrounds. They provide times of happiness and friendship. People from underprivileged backgrounds feel a sense of belonging to the community .They learn the essentials of living in a society and removes inhibitions .Â
They do not feel neglected and are made to realize their importance in the society. It improves their self esteem and they get motivated to contribute to the society.
The impact of sharing is caring on the lives of underprivileged children is multifarious .It not only fulfills the long term need of essential things but also makes them well cultured human beings.
It explores the lives of children from underprivileged backgrounds and fills it with the required colors to make it more meaningful. The program is driven out of sheer love , care and compassion.
Children get exposed number of activities which makes them learn the requirements of a good life. At the same time it is a result of everyone’s hardwork and dedication that produces the result that is near to the vision and mission of the Prazna Foundation. Poverty is a global suffrage . In 2022, a total of 712 million people globally were living in extreme poverty, an increase of 23 million people compared to 2019. People have to come together to reduce it and make countries a more dignified place.Â
People living in abject poverty have to go through many kinds of pain. Moreover, they have to work very hard to make both ends meet. Additionally, unemployment and illiteracy play a dominating role in their lives. Furthermore, healthcare is also a trouble as their children often get ill since they live in infested areas. Consequently, the lack of proper food is also prevalent, which makes their children weak. NGO’s like Prazna foundation have understood these issues and have taken efforts to eradicate them. It is providing underprivileged child education to uplift them.
Prazna’s sharing is caring program is spreading compassion through kindness. It has taken a humanitarian step towards the upliftment of underprivileged children and their families. It is a noble deed that is required to remove the problems of poverty from our societies. Â
