We all call ourself as civilized. By saying this I mean well mannered socially and culturally advanced. From the days of ancient Indian society, pursuing some kind of formal learning has been in the tradition. The concept of teacher and disciple has always been in the culture. The books of learning have made humans even more polished in their work and that makes them deliver good results.
The term “education “ comes from the Latin word “educare” which means to bring up and to nourish. There are two parties – one is the teacher who imparts the learning and the other is the disciple who learns or grasps what is being told.
This process makes it possible to acknowledge ourselves with the various facets of life. There are various child education NGOs. Prazna is one such budding NGO that is taking key initiatives in the direction of child education.
Education is the most important factor that can help an individual lead a fruitful life. Without it, an individual is like a tree without water. Education imparts the basic ways of living at the elementary level and nourishes the child to understand society. It brings healthy changes in one’s life and develops the overall personality. It empowers an individual to equip oneself with knowledge and become an asset that can contribute to the welfare of society.
Education gives direction to one’s career path and helps them generate a living. Great entrepreneurs have also been great educationists and they have always advocated for higher education. They have learned from the best educational institutions in the world and have contributed to society thereby earning respect and fame. Education makes one self-reliant. It flourishes one’s mind and makes one sophisticated in dealing with others. It promotes peace and harmony.
There are three types of Education.
Also known as formal learning, this takes place at the school premises. It is the basic academic knowledge that the child learns at school. This continues from school to the secondary level and then to college. Teacher and student engage in the process of learning. Eg: classroom education, certification, and planned education.
In this type of education, a parent is making the child learn things beyond academics like riding a cycle, swimming, cooking food, etc. Children can also get a formal education from books, websites, etc. Individuals learn this by regular practice and observing others.
Basic adult education or skill development comes under nonformal education. It can take different forms of learning which ios continuously provided to develop some skill in the individual. This is a flexible learning and includes many activities.
Akshar Kaksha is an initiative of the Prazna Foundation where education is imparted to underprivileged children making them capable of surviving in society. It comes under the education NGO, where children from poor sections of society are given a learning. This makes the children empowered and generates a healthy impact on society. It makes them engage in activities that strive for excellence in every walk of life. They also imbibe a sense of diversity for children from different backgrounds by informing them about various cultures and festivals.
Prazna Foundation founded on May 2018 is an Top NGO in Jaipur, that is an initiative of our esteemed founder Mrs. Preeti Sharma. She is a dedicated social worker. Prazna’s objectives are to empower women and children from underprivileged societies by providing them with basic elementary education and women’s hygiene knowledge so that they don’t have to feel embarrassed about the pain they go through sharing it in society.
Akshar Kaksha is all set to bring about a revolutionary change in the lives of children who come from underprivileged sections of society. It will develop a sense of confidence and self-esteem among children. It will foster individual growth through healthy education and a sense of discipline. Children will learn the importance of education in life and will be able to choose a career path in the long term that will help their future generations. It will help to generate a constructive attitude in the child and he or she will realize the importance of education. It is a way using which children who are unable to get proper education will be able to achieve it free of cost. Thereby it will bridge the gap between children and education.
