We began the day at Balika Sudhar Grah, where we conducted a menstrual hygiene workshop, distributed hygiene kits, and held a meditation session to bring peace and positivity to the girls. Listening to their stories and sharing knowledge that could empower them for life made the experience truly special.
At Kalwar Road, we interacted with women and girls who had little to no awareness about menstrual hygiene. We distributed essential hygiene products and educated them on maintaining hygiene during periods while also discussing their rights as women—because true empowerment begins with knowledge.
Later, at the slum adopted by Prazna Foundation, the day turned into a beautiful celebration. Women participated in fun games, enjoyed sweets, and experienced a space where they felt seen, valued, and uplifted. The joy and togetherness shared in those moments made this Women’s Day even more meaningful.
This Women’s Day was not just about celebration, it was about making a difference, spreading awareness, and uplifting lives. Every woman deserves dignity, knowledge, and a reason to smile.
